Hey all!
I'm learning French and I was wondering if there are any French-speaking
people on here. I'm sure there are, but the question is: where are they?????
Send me a PM if you wanna chat!!!
Sorry, that and Je Taime are the only two phrases I know anymore - at least the ones I can even vaguely spell slightly right - And thankfully these phrases aren't related in the way you think. Essentially I understand a very vague amount of it, and mostly thanks to the few english sounding words thrown in to a conversation. And I spent two whole weeks in Quebec City in Canada, possibly the frenchest place we have around here. You can imagine how alien that experience might have been. Not to mention I was with a girl, meeting her very, very french speaking parents for the first time. It ... actually went far better than I expected; they were great to me, even if we couldn't really understand each other. Still not an experience I'd like to have again. Luckily my wife's family all speak accented ol' American.:)
I don't speak it but I love the accent.
The accent just makes me think of my mum. So it's not at all sexy to me. hahaha
I used to be quite good at French but living in Toronto I don't use it and now I couldn't even get by in conversation. Most native speakers are too fast for me, too.
I speak it well, though not a native. I know a lot of natives though. Of course you already knew this Clara lol.
LOL, i did indeed. We should have a catch up some time soon, Mittle.
I'm learning it, but can't read it yet. That's something I will work on later.
